.Along with THL W200S MTK6592 the bulkier size

“It’s heavy, thick and it’s pretty expensive,” said Tero Kuittinen, an analyst for Alekstra, a mobile trends research firm.Along with THL W200S MTK6592 the bulkier size, the $180 price tag is still not as aggressive as what some other manufacturers have released in the low end of the market, Mr. Kuittinen added. For example, Samsung’s Galaxy Young, which weighs 3.4 ounces and has a 3-inch screen, costs $100 on Amazon. Chinese handset makers like Huawei and ZTE also make Android phones that cost as little as $100.
The number of THL W200S smartphone owners keeps increasing - and many are in China, buying low-end "Android" phones which don't run Google services, according to new data published by the research companies Gartner and IDC.
Samsung accounted for just under 40% of all Android shipments, including China, according to IDC. But it is the only non-Chinese vendor in the top ten Android sellers there; Lenovo and Yulong dominate, with Xiaomi - which recently hired Google executive Hugo Barra - holding 4.3% of the market there.
Law enforcement officials trying to rein in Doogee DG210 Dual Sim smartphone theft have criticized cellular operators who they say rejected a solution that would help address the problem.“It is highly disturbing that these corporations rejected a proposal that would have helped keep millions of consumers safe,” San Francisco District Attorney George Gascón and New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman said in a joint statement Wednesday.

The officials have been pushing for a “kill switch” that could render smartphones inoperable after they’re stolen, reducing the incentive for crime. But news reports this week suggested carriers have rejected the idea.

While Apple increased the number of handsets it shipped to 30.3m, up 23.1% year-on-year, its share of worldwide sales including China fell to 12.1%, its lowest since the start of 2009. Excepting China, it was about 18%; the company does not disclose shipments of iPhones inside China.

Gartner has for the first time lifted the lid on the gigantic growth in sales of THL W200S Android phones which don't run Google services in China - so-called "AOSP" Android Open Source Platform handsets, which use local app stores and do not count towards "activations" measured by Google, nor hook into Google services.

Motorola says it will sell the Moto G at a profit. The device will go on sale Wednesday in Brazil and parts of Europe, and then in January in other parts of the world like India and Southeast Asia. The JIAYU G5 Dual Sim phone will also go on sale in January in the United States, where the company thinks the device could appeal to people who cannot afford a fancy THL W200S smartphone, particularly children.
